Cashmere & Oak started as most businesses do, an accidental solution to a problem.

In 2017 I found myself delving deeper into my yoga and meditation practice and along with that came these gorgeous crystals and all their energy healing properties. A skeptic by nature, I was hesitant to believe the hype about crystals and their abilities to heal but I could not deny their ability to keep me focused and grounded during my practice.

The more I learned about each stone, the more I appreciated their healing energy. I even loved the possibility that it was all a placebo effect!

The idea that the beautiful stone in my hand or on my mat had existed for much longer than me and was once a part of our incredible planet, helped to ground me in my practice and in my life. When I saw that people were carrying these stones around in their pockets and bras to job interviews and dates, I knew there had to be a better way. I searched high and low for a pair of crystal earrings and found many perfectly polished stone earrings but nothing like what I really wanted: a raw, multi-faceted, completely shaped-by-nature, innately beautiful and completely inimitable pair of earrings. I decided to chisel one from my own collection and made a gorgeous chunk of clear quartz druzy into the simplest most beautiful pair of earrings. I wore them daily and when they started to gain momentum, a business was born!
